Patrick Murphy: Reject the 'BRIDGE to Nowhere'


We hear Representative Patrick Murphy is a good guy. Lots of people like him. He's got some good positions. But, come on, why is he signing his good name onto this nonsense called the "BRIDGE Resolution?"

The "BRIDGE Resolution" has been called "a cheap shot" at immigrants. It's not even an actual bill-- it's a symbolic attempt to block progress on real immigration reform. If taken literally, the thing would waste tens of billions of taxpayer dollars on the same old enforcement schemes and do nothing to truly solve our immigration crisis.
