GOP Should Take Cue from Boy Scouts

In yesterday's post, Abortion and welfare queens, Kos poked fun at Pat Buchanan's theory of reasons the GOP is dying (mainly related to immigration, in his opinion):

But he is right about one thing -- the GOP's intolerance has made it radioactive among non-Anglo demographics. And given the huge growth in minority population, mostly Latino but also African American and Asian, it will be difficult for the GOP to win as long as its Pat Buchanans continue to ply their wares.

Ironically, the Boy Scouts, in a piece that also appeared on Daily Kos today, have embraced reality and hired a Latino outreach team. Via Mothertalkers.com:

Maybe the Boy Scouts could loan a few PR people to the GOP?
